PARTICULARITĂŢILE DIAGNOSTICULUI ŞI TRATAMENTULUI CAVITĂŢILOR DENTARE DE CLASA VI

Abstract
Majoritatea stomatologilor practicieni sunt siguri că în clasificaţia lui Black sunt menţionate doar 5 clase de cavităţi, deşi există şi clasa a VI-a. La clasa a VI-a, conform suplimentului la clasificarea clasică a lui Black, se referă cavităţile situate la nivelul marginilor incizale ale dinţilor frontali (incisivilor, caninilor) sau la vârful cuspizilor dinţilor laterali (molari şi premolari). Într-un şir de cazuri tot tratamentul se reduce la prepararea şi obturarea acestor defecte cu materiale compozite. Adâncimea optimă a cavităţii este de 2 mm, dacă nu sunt prezente leziuni ale straturilor mai profunde ale dentinei. Materialele folosite pentru obturarea cariilor de clasa a VI-a sunt compozite, compomeri şi ionomeri de sticlă cu rezistenţă sporită.
