Supply-side determinants of investment funds development in the TFI’s decision-making process

Abstract
Identification of the factors determining the supply of investment funds, which were the subject of the research, was carried out in relation to the various stages of the decision-making bodies that create the investment funds supply. The decision-making process of TFI managers concerning investment funds supply creation has been used as an auxiliary tool for identifying the determinants of the investment funds shares supply. The analysis of the decision-making process of the bodies creating investment fund supply was accompanied by an attempt of assigning the factors motivating their development to the subsequent stages of the TFI decision-making process. The implementation of the approach taken from the strategic analysis witch distinguishes three environments of the enterprise in considerations concerning the supply-side development conditions allowed for the specialization of the criterion of investment funds supply-side determinants development classification. Supply-side determinants are classified according to the level of environment TFI, on which they operate. The applied procedure allowed us to determine the impact or no impact of the specified groups of conditions on the TFI decisions on each stage of the decision-making process for creating the supply of investment funds.
