ON LEGAL BASES OF STATE SUPPORT OF INSOLVENT BANKS

Abstract
The article is devoted to the legal bases of state support of insolvent banks. The basic principles of state aid to banks in the EU and Ukraine are analyzed. The following principles are singled out: taking into account the needs of ensuring financial stability in the country; presence of features of a systemically important bank; administrative and imperious nature of procedures; minimization of public expenditure, prompt decisionmaking, special control and some others. The problems of nationalization of banks in Ukraine are revealed.
