Ovarian cyst in neonate

Abstract
Although ovarian cysts in neonates are known as not uncommon, still each such abnormality discovered on ultrasound is worrying and still controversial in terms of further treatment. This article presents the authors’ observations of nine newborns presenting with ovarian cysts, hospitalized in Department of Neonates’, Infants Pathology and Cardiology of Medical University in Lublin in 2003-2005.
