OVERCOMING RESISTANCE TO ORGANIZATIONAL CHANGE

Abstract

The modern organizations’ ability to change is of vital importance for higher efficiency and preservation of competitive advantages and positions on the global markets. The organizational changes caused by internal and external transformations are both necessary and inevitable. Organizational change management is often accompanied by employees’ resistance on different levels, of different weight and impact on effectiveness in the process of change. The ability to manage change is vital for good managers in the contemporary business world. In order to be successful in coping with resistance and making effective changes, the organization leaders and human resources professionals should avoid the most common mistakes being made. The strategic development and the preservation of the competitive positions of the modern organizations depend on the skills and abilities for implementation and management of organizational change
