Peculiarities of Agricultural Market Infrastructure Development and Operation: Historical Aspect

Abstract
The article studies the problem of development and operation of agricultural market infrastructure. The author emphasises that the given topic is extremely up-to-date because after the events of the year 2014 our country chose new direction in its development. It has become a strategically important task to form a market-oriented organizational structure of the agricultural sector. And the improvement of the activity of the basic elements of agricultural market infrastructure was a necessary condition for that. In the main part of the article, the author concentrates on the issues connected with the operation of the basic elements of the infrastructure: wholesale markets of agricultural products, agricultural trade houses, cooperatives, exhibitions and fairs, agricultural exchange houses. The author analyzed in detail every single element during the whole Independence Period beginning from 1990s and up to and including 2014. There was also given the analysis of the problems that were the obstacles on the way to the full development of the nation. In the end of the article there is a conclusion that the weak support of the state, insufficient taxation system and the shadow schemes in the domestic and foreign trade resulted in the ineffective operation of almost all elements of agricultural market infrastructure
