Journal Title: Науковий вісник Південноукраїнського національного педагогічного університету імені К. Д. Ушинського - Year 2017, Vol 116, Issue 3
Abstract
The article is devoted to the specificity of the future Music teachers’ preparation for the work with musical ensembles. The socio-cultural significance of involving schoolchildren into collective forms of music making is emphasized. The essence of the concept «work with the ensemble» is considered, additional functions that arise in the activity of the Music teacher connected with the involvement of additional responsibilities in their scope of activities are described. Some peculiarities of the amateur creative collective as a phenomenon possessing the properties of an open dynamic system which is characterized by great variability and certain unpredictability are specified, which is explained by the voluntary basis of participation in its activity by schoolchildren, the variability of the composition of young musicians, and their various levels of musical training. Pedagogical conditions are substantiated, the creation of which should contribute into the successful preparation of the future Music teacher for work with school ensembles. The first condition is the creation of students’ positive-motivated attitude to mastering additional competencies on the basis of activating and combining dissimilar motives: socio-civil, image- and personal-oriented, musical-hedonistic, etc. While substantiating the second pedagogical condition, the complex integrative nature of competences which the future head of the ensemble should possess, as well as the role of interdisciplinary connections and interdisciplinary coordination of the content of classes at different disciplines, their role in the formation of students’ generalized methods of learning, was taken into account. Thus, the second pedagogical condition for the successful preparation of future Music teachers for ensemble work is its organization based on the strengthening of interdisciplinary and integrative ties of academic disciplines. The third condition is the systemic embodiment of the content of students’ professional practical training in their ensemble playing in various kinds of their own performing, educational, pedagogical, entertaining and student-centred ensemble activities, which is likely to enrich their experience, to stimulate a reflexively conscious assessment of real problems and to identify the ways to solve them in the future work with a musical ensemble. While grounding the fourth pedagogical condition it was taken into consideration that modern schoolchildren show great interest in technical and technological innovations, as well as availability of information sources, teaching aids, innovative techniques and techniques that facilitate the selection and processing of musical material, rehearsal and concert activity, popularization of the creative work of a musical collective. All this determined the importance of students' possession of new technologies, including the basics of creative management. The methodology aimed at preparing students for the work with school music ensembles requires further comprehensive development.
