PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN HANDOUT BERBASIS PEMECAHAN MASALAH TERHADAP KETERAMPILAN BERPIKIR KRITIS DAN KETERAMPILAN BERPIKIR KREATIF SISWA

Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of using problem-based handouts on critical thinking skills and students' creative thinking skills in Static Fluid material. The population of this study were all students of class XI MIA SMAN 1 East Praya with a study sample consisting of two classes, namely class XI MIA 1 with a total of 25 people as a group of critical thinking experiments and class XI MIA 2 as many as 24 people as an experimental group creative thinking. Both samples were taught using problem-based handouts. The instruments used in this study use essay tests of critical thinking and essay tests of creative thinking. The average result of the XI MIA 1 pretest is 45.1 and posttest is 75.3 so that the Sig value is obtained. (2- tailed) data (0.00) <alpha test (0.05). These results indicate that there is a handout effect on students' critical thinking skills. The results of the XI MIA 2 class data analysis obtained an average pretest value of 35.9 and posttest of 62.4 so that the Sig value was obtained. (2-tailed) data (0.00) <alpha testing (0.05). Differences in the average learning outcomes of the two experimental groups critical thinking and creative thinking show that learning using problem-based handouts is more effectively used to train students' critical thinking skills than to practice students' creative thinking skills.
