PERSONAL COMPONENT OF METHODICAL COMPETENCE OF THE TEACHERS OF THE PRE-SCHOOL EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS

Abstract

The article analyzes the content of the personal component of the methodical competence of the teachers of pre-school educa- tional institutions in the system of continuous education and notes that it reflects the manifestation of the initiative and creativity of the teacher, the desire to participate in research and experimental work in educational institution, professional and important qualities of the individual; correlates with the skills associated with the psychological aspect of the personality of the teacher: communicative, perceptual, reflexive. The concept and components of methodical competence are introduced. The elements of methodical competence of the teacher are considered namely methodical thinking, methodical culture and methodical creativity. Methodological competence of teachers in preschool educational institutions is an integral multilevel professional meaningful characterization of teacher’s personality and activities, which is based on effective professional experience; it displays the system level of functioning for methodological, teaching and research knowledge, skills, experience, motivation, abilities and readiness to the creative fulfillment in scientific, methodological and pedagogical activity in general, provides the best combination of profes- sional practices in teaching activity. The structure of the competence of the specialist involves experience (knowledge, skills), orientation (needs, values, motives, ideals), quality (ability to synergetic manifestations, adaptation, scaling and interpretation, self-development, integration, transfer of knowledge from one branch to another). The structure of methodical competence as the result of the training of future educators of pre-school institutions is due to its com- ponents being the key, basic, special and partly professional competencies, each of which has a cognitive, activity and personal aspect. The personal component is a system of professionally determined qualities of the personality, pedagogical abilities, motives, interests that determine the position of the teacher (authoritarian or humane), his pedagogical orientation (for the child, the leading motive of which is the care of maximal self-actualization of his personality, self-directedness acting as the need for professional self-improvement, the focus on ever more profound mastery of the subject), pedagogical reflection. The personal component includes: humanistic orientation; organizational skills; communicative abilities; responsibility; belief in the strength and potential of children; pedagogical focus on the end result; active love for children, search of effective ways of cooperation with them; mobility; creativity; readiness to help colleagues at work; technological awareness of pedagogical actions; the attitude of the teacher to himself, his personal and professional development.
