PERSPECTIVES FOR DEVELOPMENT OF THE ELECTORAL SYSTEM OF UKRAINE

Abstract
The article deals with the advantages and disadvantages of majoritarian and proportional electoral systems, domestic and foreign experience of their application. The directions of further development of the electoral system of Ukraine in the context of eurointegration processes and constitutional reform in Ukraine are determined. Conceptual approaches of formation of the national model of the electoral system, improvement of the electoral legislation of Ukraine are outlined.
