PHILOSOPHICAL AND RELIGIOUS BELIEFS OF ANCIENT UKRAINIANS

Abstract
Summary: the article studies the philosophical and religious views of the ancient Ukrainians. Вк45азуєитться that philosophical thinking was typical of the man of the ancient time. Philosophical-religious views has been ex-pressed in the belief in the good of the dead, guards, evil dead, vampires, birds, as the embodiment of the souls of the dead ancestors, etc. In Slavic mythology the existing beliefs in the guardians, mermaids, mavok. They were granted the people certain common features (images, functions, rituals). Stated that Christianity borrowed from pagan religion beliefs and practices that were used in the past and used by Christianity and other religions in our time.
