Phraseological unit as a way of verbalizing emotional state (based on English)

Abstract
The article is focused on the problem of phraseological nomination and the analysis of phraseological units which denote a person and his/her internal psychical state. The investigation deals with the phraseological units that denote categories of a person’s inner world. Different points of view on such problems as definition and classification of phraseological units are examined. The basic principles of the process of lexical units categorization and their use in the language system have been shown.
