Abstract
University of Prešov in Prešov belongs to the largest public universities in Slovakia. The research results showed that the University plays an important role in our university educational system. It is not just a regional university, but university with nationwide scope. It is attended by students from all districts of Slovakia. However its largest attendance area is in eastern Slovakia where the university provides education especially for people in territory, which is located far from the largest education centers of western and Central Slovakia.
