PROJECT APPROACH TO ACTIVITY MANAGEMENT OF THE LAND ARTILLERY UNIT IN A COMBINED BATTLE

Abstract
The article substantiates the need to apply the project approach to managing the operations of land artillery units as one of the main and key factor for the successful accomplishment of their combat mission in a modern combined battle, which is fully in line with NATO standards. The fire damage of the enemy units of land artillery in each combined battle is considered as a project, with all its characteristic attributes: time-limited, unique, inimitable and one-time process. Relying on such an outcome, the processes known in the methodology of project management that are the object of actions control of ground artillery subdivisions during the preparation and conduct of their fire damage of the enemy have been analyzed. The use of the project approach involves developing new and improving the existing methods and models for controlling the activities of land artillery units during the organization and conduct of combat work.
