Prolixity in Ahmad Shamlou's Poetry

Abstract
The prolixity is one of the widest explanation styles in contemporary poetry where its frequency is variedwithin different poets' poetries. This divergent result from their various poetic styles; because the poem of any poet is expressive of his/her beliefs and allusive world meanwhile is affected by the literary thoughts and currents of his/her time. In Shamlou's poetry, the elements such as description, picturing, narration, illustrations, as well as personal emotions have been set up the prolixity. Therefore, this idea can be put it that the prolixity styles of any poet is affected by his/her own specific personal style. In this article, the redundant styles and its elements in Shamlou's poetry have been investigated during three distinctive sections: at the first section, the reiteration and the aims that had led the poet towards it will be discussed. At the second section, the various types of redundant is mentioning the proper one after common, elucidate after the ambiguity, making long explanation, depleting, completion, interpretation, ...,etc and finally the different purposes and meanings of prolixity have been studied in Shamlou's poetry through the various examples and instances.
