PROSPECTS OF DATABASES DEVELOPMENT IN ECONOMICS

Abstract
In the 21st century, the computer industry is constantly growing and as a result all modern organizations and firms have their own electronic databases. The scope of their application is extremely wide. To date, they have become an integral part of any industry and everyday human life. The amount of information in the world is constantly growing. That is why databases have become so widely used among all branches of the national economy. Over the past 40 years, a huge amount of research has been carried out in the field of data management. Its results can be successfully applied for the development of universal database management systems and the development of specialized systems. At present, the DBMS sphere has made great progress in the technologies of analysis, sorting, processing and storage of data. The latest technology allows you to work with petabyte-sized databases. At the same time, data processing and analysis are performed in real time. Consequently, work on studying and improving the processing and storage of huge data sources will find a worthy application in all sectors of the world economy.
