Research progress on cyclic nucleotide gated ion channel proteins in plant growth, development and stress response

Abstract

A review comprehensively examines the role of cyclic nucleotide gated ion channels (CNGCs) protein in plant growth, development, and stress response, focusing on protein structure, tissue and cell localization, and regulatory mechanisms of CNGCs protein activity. It also explores the mechanism of CNGCs protein in regulating plant pollen tube growth and discusses future research directions for plant CNGCs protein. Finally, this review aims to provide theoretical references for a deeper understanding of the mechanism of CNGCs protein in plants.
