Review on Image Enhancement Techniques: FPGA Implementation perspective
Journal Title: International Journal of Electronics Communication and Computer Technology - Year 2012, Vol 2, Issue 6
Abstract
Extensive research has been done on image enhancement and hence it has become essential to categorize the research outcomes and provide an overview of the av ailable enhancement techniques. In this paper different image enhancement techniques with their conceptual details are reviewed. The broad categorization of the reviewed algorithms is brought out with the emphasis on the state of art research in each categ ory. The paper emphasizes on the review of Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) implementation of the image enhancement techniques.

Atmospheric Turbulence and Pointing Errors Effects in the Performance Matrices of Wireless Optical Links
The average channel capacity and bit error rate parameters of free space optical link under atmospheric turbulence modelled by Gamma-Gamma distribution and Kdistribution respectively with pointing error effects has bee...
Channel Estimation with Extended Kalman Filter for Fading Channels
Channel estimation is simply defined as the process of characterizing the effect of the physical channel on the input sequence. They may or may not contain the transmission of a training sequence. Data based channel esti...
User perception towards Open Source Operating Systems with special reference to GNU/Linux
It is almost twenty years after GNU/Linux has been overblown. Still the market figures of Linux use are at very abysmal levels. In spite of the maturity and adoption, Linux is still remained as a second hand option for m...
Space Time Block Coding for MIMO Systems With Low Decoding Complexity
MIMO systems with multiple antenna elements at both link ends are an efficient solution for future wireless communications systems as they provide high data rates by exploiting the spatial domain under the constraints of...
Dynamic Binding to Web Services Pre-Cached on a LAN
Web services are being increasingly exploited in software development. Their advantages, for example, platform independence, would be enhanced if they could be bound to dynamically at run time. However, existing methods...
