РОЗВИТОК РИНКУ ФІНАНСОВИХ ТЕХНОЛОГІЙ В УКРАЇНІ ЯК ФАКТОР СПРИЯННЯ ФІНАНСОВІЙ ІНКЛЮЗИВНОСТІ

Abstract
Kalashnikova T.V., Samokhina S.A. Development of the financial technology market in Ukraine as a factor in promoting financial inclusion. The development of the financial technology market is due to the use of new business models by financial institutions and causes fundamental changes in the financial sector. The research of the domestic market of financial technologies shows the tendency of increasing its quantitative and qualitative parameters; significant influence on the activity of traditional participants in the financial market; underdeveloped regulatory framework for regulating the activities of FinTech companies from the standpoint of protecting economic competition. The main areas of the domestic financial technology market are: payments and money transfers, investments in technology and infrastructure, lending, marketing. The advantages of using financial technology for customers are: the availability of new ideas and projects; possibility of faster reaction to the release of new products; higher level of service convenience; potential improvement of services, cost reduction, efficiency improvement, transparency; attracting new customers; transition from monoproducts to multiproduct production; the ability to provide new applications both directly to clients, and in partnership with traditional financial institutions. The disadvantages of financial technology are: insufficient level of statutory regulation, as FinTech companies use business models which differ from traditional institutions; spontaneous decision-making by consumers of online services; technological risks associated with the use of personal data; limited user access to online transactions. FinTech companies become an important part of the world and national economy, transform the financial services sector with innovative products and fundamentally change the mechanism of the main traditional market participants. Financial technologies are focused on the convenience of customers and are directly related to the issues of financial inclusiveness. Financial inclusiveness is the process of providing access to financial products, which involves creating a wider range of financial products available to customers. Further development of the financial technology industry in Ukraine is an important factor in promoting financial inclusiveness. The main directions of the domestic financial technology market development are: improvement of state regulation; improvement of products; investment increase; establishing a strategic partnership with traditional players in the financial sector.
