SCIENTIFIC METHODOLOGY OF ENVIRONMENTALLY HAZARDOUS RISKS EVALUATION OF HUMAN -TRANSFORMED HYDROECOSYSTEMS FUNCTIONING

Abstract

Purpose. To evaluate the ecological state of the Irpin River in Ukraine with the help of integrated informative indicators of control ecosystem condition by using indicators based on chemical water quality and hydrobiological parameters. Methodology. National and world experience of sustainable development indicators has been investigated. The quality estimation has been conducted on the part of the Irpin river from the Nyvka river to the Kiev Reservoir on different indicators which are based on the data of supervision (2006 – 2016). The length of the study area is 45km. Findings. The problem of water quality of the Irpin River has been discussed. The sources of water pollution of the river Nyvka have been established. It has been identified the major pollutants and their concentration in water resource. Originality. We have developed an original modern method of ecological control of the river basin water ecosystem for providing steady development and prevention of environmental risks of aquatic ecosystems. The basis of this model is integrated environmental monitoring indicators. They are the reflection of water-inside processes, structural and functional changes, the opportunity to self-purification and self-esteem. This is very useful because the basic condition for optimizing transformed natural systems is to maintain evolutionary self-regulation mechanisms. According to the international reference framework, our indicators classified for three groups the pressure-state-response indicators. Practical value. With the help of our indicators, we can characterize the measure of transformation aquatic ecosystems, control changes and improve the ecological state. Conclusions. Measures of cleaning and improving the ecological state of water resources of the Nyvka river basin have been proposed. The transformation measure of the part of the Irpin River has been characterized.
