SEMANTICAL PECULIARITIES OF CONTAMINANTS IN THE MODERN ENGLISH LANGUAGE

Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of structural and semantical peculiarities of the words formed by blending parts of existing words. The author determines the semantical classification of the blends and investigates the reasons of their spreading in various branches of society. The emphasis is put on the group of words causing the aggression and hate. The comparison with the latest contaminants in the Ukrainian language has been made while investigating. Further, the peculiarities of their functioning were defined in this article.
