SEPARATION OF «EXTORTION» FROM THE RELATED CRIMES THAT BREACH THE FREEDOM OF CONTRACT

Abstract
The article is devoted to the problematic issues concerning qualification of crimes that abuse the freedom of contract conclusion and enforcement. In particular, the separation among such crimes as «Extortion», «Resistance to legitimate business activity» and «Duress to performing of civil obligations» is explored. This distinction is made in the context of situ- ations that constitute a violation of freedom of the contract. As a result of the analysis, the key demarcation criteria among these crimes have been distinguished.
