SOME PROBLEMATIC ASPECTS OF CRIMINAL PROCEDURE IN ABSENTIA

Abstract
The article is devoted to the investigation of the institute of absentia criminal proceedings and some of its problems. The difference between the European and domestic approach to its application has been clarified. The main problem issues arising in the implementation of absentia criminal proceedings, in particular regarding the rights of the suspect accused of protection, are identified.
