Abstract
The purpose of the paper is to outline the literary nuances of the understanding of spaciousness concept in the ideological paradigm of Cherokee people through the lens of "Pushing the Bear. A Novel of Trail of Tears " by Diane Glancy. The author argues that Cherokee’s spatial identity was formed on the basis of common territories, based on a certain system of values.
