Abstract
In the article are researched the social and legal foundations of criminalisation of crime in the form of leaving in danger or failure to aid a person who is in a life- threatening condition, taking into account the dynamic changes in the life of Ukrainian society. Characterized by content and types of life-threatening condition, and set its level of criticality.
