STATE, PROBLEMS AND PROSPECTS OF FARMERSHIP IN UKRAINE

Abstract
The main results of the research of the problems forming the existing situation of farming in Ukraine are presented, and the search for ways to solve them taking into account certain moments of foreign experience. The place and role of farms in the agrarian economy and in the solution of the food problem in Ukraine have been identified and analyzed. It is determined that a significant part of the problems of farmers in Ukraine exist due to their small size and scale of management, and also because of the practical lack of state support in creating the conditions necessary for the normal development of this form of economical activity. It is predicted that the future development of farms in Ukraine can take place under conditions of cooperation providing in material and technical supply, sales and processing of products, what will help them to compete for a place in the agrarian economy and for a place on domestic and foreign markets with large agroholdings, whose development in Ukraine is almost uncontrollable.
