Abstract
The article outlines the problem of risks for the educational system of Ukraine. It concisely presents the current state in risks research. The importance of studying the risks, their analysis and evaluation is indicated. The scientific achievements of the fourth industrial revolution are described. These include cloud technologies, ways to collect and analyze Big Data, crowdsourcing, biotechnology, 3D-printing technology, Bitcoin crypto currency and Blockchain technology, development of robotics and nanotechnology. The mentioned achievements act as key factors of technological risks for the educational system. The way of prevention of technological risks is indicated: it is connected with the implementation of the STEM-education concept. The main components of STEM education are identified: science, technology, engineering and mathematics. The main drawback of the STEM-education concept has been noted and described. The ways of overcoming technological risks in the educational sphere of Ukraine are suggested.
