Świadomość ekologiczna jako instrument realizacji polityki ekologicznej w Polsce, Stanach Zjednoczonych Ameryki i Australii

Abstract
The perception of the environmental (ecological) awareness is a multi-faceted and heterogeneous concept, which has different approaches in various cultures. The environmental (ecological) awareness is primarily shaped in the process of environmental education, however, it is rooted in the social perception, which depends on the culture and traditions of a given society. The environmental (ecological) awareness as an attitude, has an unquestionable impact on the environmental policy of each country, since it is characterized by the responsibility for the condition of nature associated with having the genuine knowledge resulting in the desire or even determination in actions to preserve the state of undisturbed nature. It is generally believed that the environmental (ecological) awareness is reflected in the respect for nature, in the way of the environment protection, as well as the prevention of the environmental hazards, etc.
