Switzerland: from confederation to federalism

Abstract
The article deals with the main points of the state construction of the Swiss Confederation, the description of the main provisions of Swiss state system, the characteristic of the main authorities in the country and identifies the main challenges and achievements in the development of the state. Besides, description of the transition from the confederative form of the state to federalism.
