ТЕХНОЛОГІЇ ФОРМУВАННЯ МЕТОДИЧНОЇ КОМПЕТЕНТНОСТІ ВИКЛАДАЧА ІНОЗЕМНОЇ МОВИ

Abstract
Abstract. Introduction. Finding the ways how to boost students’ motivation towards learning academic subjects is the actual task of each lecturer at high school. Purpose. To present the description of lecturer’s experience of forming in holders of master’s degree the methodological competence of foreign language (Spanish, German, English) lecturer with the use of teaching technologies. Methods. The conceptual basis of introduced technologies is the technology of edutainment. Edutainment as a technology of teaching foreign language has already been analyzed for different teaching stages: from the primary to the high school. Thereafter the edutainment technology is identified in the context conception of teaching through the entertainment as a complex of modern technical and didactic means of teaching. According to the results of scientists’ research the target audience for the edutainment technology use is presented with the youth in the age group from 17 to 28 years. The attributes of edutainment technology are the following: availability of the interest within the students, the accent on entertainment, application of game and informational communicative technologies. The peculiarity of the edutainment technology is the implementation of modern forms of entertainment into the system of traditional organizational forms of teaching, especially of foreign language. However, the usage of edutainment technology in the process of forming methodological competence of the lecturer of a foreign language has not been analyzed yet. Results. “Six thinking hats” as an interactive technology of forming the methodological competence of pre-service lecturers of foreign languages is presented. The technology is applied at methodological practical lessons. Each multicolored hat (informative white hat, emotional red hat, positive yellow hat, pessimistic black hat, creative green hat, organizational blue hat) is used for controlling students’ methodological knowledge. The students’ positive attitude on the interactive teaching technology and their wish to use it during the pedagogical practice while teaching German have been observed. There are introduced formats of professionally oriented role play, which are shown with a help of methodological battle “Didactic vs. role games” and methodological briefings “Educational site for teaching Deutsch” and “Mobile applications for teaching English”. Professionally oriented role play formats have a positive influence on methodological skills developing. The following survey of students approves their interest to the teachingtechnology and their wish of its further use during the period of pedagogical practice. Conclusion.
