The housing sphere in Ukraine: the state and perspectives of legal ensuring of a balance between economic efficiency and social justice

Abstract
The article is dedicated to the current state and perspectives of legal framework for achieving a balance between economic efficiency and social justice in the housing sphere of Ukraine. The author gives special consideration to the current state of the housing fund in the context of housing security and housing prices. The article provides a profound analysis of the statistical data from official sources, which are giving an opportunity to see the real state of the housing sphere of Ukraine. The results show that there is a significant level of social tension due to the inadequacy of the population’s needs for housing.
