The Importance of the Perception of Art for the Development of Aesthetic Consciousness of an Individual

Abstract
The article shows the perception of art as an important aspect of the individual’s aesthetic consciousness as well as indicating a means of promoting creative activity. The basic components of the perception of the arts are: emotionality, flexibility of thinking, creativity. The indicators of visual perception of art by students of humanities and creative specializations have been described, revealing differences in the art form and perception of art by students.
