THE INFLUENCE OF DIFFERENT VARIETES OF FABA BEAN APPLIED IN THE CONCENTRATE MIXTURE ON GROWTH, MORPHOLOGICAL AND BIOCHEMICAL COMPOSITION IN BLOOD AND HISTOLOGICAL PISTURE OF JEJUNUM AT RATS

Abstract
The purpose of experiment was to assess the impact of three varieties of horse bean used in mixtures for rats on their weight gain, feed efficiency, morphological and biochemical indices in blood and morphological changes of liver and jejunum. Research has been performed on 48 rats (♀), which were randomly allocated into four groups. In the control group, the primary protein source was soya bean oil meal, but in the experimental groups three varieties of horse bean with different concentration of tannins were applied. It was found that with the increasing amounts of tannins the daily body weight gain has decreased and increased intake of feed per 1 g of the gain. The level of WBC, PLT and AST has increased significantly according to the increasing amounts of tannins. High concentration of tannins in horse bean of Titus variety has led to the changes in the histological picture of rats intestine (jejunum).
