THE INTRODUCTION IN UKRAINE OF UPDATED PRINCIPLES OF POLICE ACTIVITY, FOCUSED ON SOCIETY

Abstract
The article is devoted to highlighting the essence of Community Policing - the partnership of the police and the local community to prevent offenses. The author also considers the main models of such interaction and the main forms of implementing this strategy. The article analyzes the foreign experience of implementing the partnership between the police and the public. Based on the analysis of the current state of the domestic legislation and relevant state programs, a conclusion is drawn on the prospects for introducing principles of policing activities that are socially oriented in Ukraine.
