Abstract
The main criteria for ensuring the quality of education are highlighted. The importance of introducing changes to the traditional system of training in higher educational establishments is indicated. The role of foreign experience in this field is indicated. The main factors of influencing the quality of professional training of future aviation specialists are analyzed. The main aspects of improving the quality of higher education in the USA are highlighted. It is pointed out at the main factors of influencing the quality of professional training. The peculiarities of organization of professional training of future aviation specialists are highlighted. Application of the American experience of professional training of aviation specialists to ensure the quality of higher professional education in Ukraine is considered. Two aspects of professional training improvement are defined: the level of preparation of the teaching staff and the educational process of professional training of aviation specialists. The importance of the teacher's level of qualification is noted. The importance of creating conditions for self-development and self-improvement, qualification development and professional development of the teaching staff was determined. An analysis of mentoring programs for young teachers was conducted. The importance of attending conferences, seminars as factor of advanced training is indicated. The importance of evaluating the efficiency of scientific work of an educational institution is analyzed. Criteria for assessing teachers are outlined. The influence of competition on the process of ensuring the quality of professional training of aviation specialists is considered. The importance of advanced training programs is indicated. The main aspects of the project South Eastern Regional Vision for Education (SERVE) are considered. The importance of meeting the needs of the aviation industry during the implementation of the educational process is noted. It was pointed out the importance of cooperation between airlines and aviation education as a means of forming the necessary knowledge and skills of future specialists in the aviation industry. The importance of creation Advanced Aviation Analytics Institute for Research (A³IR-CORE) is highlighted. The main directions of work Aviation Analytics Institute for Research (A³IR-CORE) are analyzed. The importance of global air transport policy is pointed out. The role of airlines in the training of aeronautical specialists is considered. The importance of cooperation with practicing pilots in order to meet the requirements of training future pilots is noted. It is revealed that the borrowing of positive US experience and its adaptation to the realities of our country make it possible to increase the efficiency of preparation of civil aviation pilots.
