THE MODERN PROBLEMS OF REGU LATION OF PREVENTION OF ILLICIT TRAFF ICKING IN WEAPON

Abstract
Modern problems of legal regulation of prevention of illicit trafficking in weapon are examined by the author. The provisions were analyzed according to the existing laws of Ukraine “About the national police”, “About national guard”. The author says that the concept and types of weapon isn’t defined in the legislation, order the using of weapon by police officers is determined by the law, such weapons can be defined by the Minister of internal Affairs of Ukraine. This state of affairs contradict the requirements of modern law enforcement practices and common sense.
