THE PROBLEM OF VALUES OF A PERSON IN THE CURRENT CONTEXT

Abstract
The article analyzes the current state of the research of the problem of value orientations in the scientific literature. The concept of values and value orientations is determined. The classification of social values is given. The article clarifies the concept of value orientations, their place and role in the personality structure. The article also broadens and deepens the knowledge of the psychological mechanisms of individual's value attitude to the environment. It is proved that the highest human values are life and health but family, education, freedom, beauty, creativity and other spiritual values are in this list too.
