Abstract
The article explores the peculiarities of the process of forming the legal consciousness of rural residents in modern Ukrainian society. It is noted that the development of legal culture, education of the legal consciousness of the inhabitants of the village is one of the priorities of the state and society. The process of forming the justice of a resident of a rural area can be defined as a purposeful impact on the individual, in order to assimilate him the rules of conduct necessary for integration into society. The process of forming the legal consciousness of the inhabitants of the countryside is influenced by the processes of education and training, therefore, they should be made as accessible as possible qualitative. A nationwide program must be adopted, aimed at forming a legal consciousness and legal culture of a person.
