THE ROLE OF INTERNATIONAL AND NON-GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATIONS IN SOCIAL ADAPTATION AND INTEGRATION OF IDPS INTO LOCAL COMMUNITIES IN UKRAINE

Abstract
The article is devoted to the actual problem of modern Ukraine – the integration of IDPs into host communities and the role of international and non-governmental organizations in this process. Based on surveys conducted in several regions of Ukraine (448 respondents from 6 regions), the perception of migration as a challenge to social security by the majority of the domestic population was substantiated, but the tolerant attitude of the community inhabitants to IDPs was fixed. Conclusions on the positive influence of international and non-governmental organizations on the process of social adaptation and integration of IDPs in host communities are made.
