The use of the tic for the guided environmental education in the elementary training of teachers of biology-chemistry

Abstract

The paper refers to the employment of the TIC to contribute to the development of the Environmental Education guided to the sustainable development of the teachers in formation of the career Biology-chemistry in the University of Pedagogic Sciences José Martí in the municipality Camagüey. For their realization an analysis of the methodological theoretical foundations of the Environmental Education was made and in particular the incorporation to the project of teachers' elementary training. The result of methods and applied techniques allowed to check that difficulties exist in the formation of a conscience directed toward the protection of the environment, for what a methodological alternative is suggested with the employment of the educational software “The Nature and the Man” that power the environmental education guided to the sustainable development in the educational process. It is validated during the courses 2011-2013, reflecting the obtained qualitative and quantitative results and the effectiveness of the proposal.
