The ways and prospects of enhancing the development of economic security at machine-building enterprises

Abstract
Annotation. The purpose of the article is to study the peculiarities of the mechanical engineering enterprises functioning, to analyze and use existing methods for assessing the development of economic security, to determine the effectiveness by using these methods, to calculate the level of economic security development, to develop directions for improving the development of economic security and ways to solve existing problems. Methodology of research. The objectives of the article implemented by using the following general and specific research methods: analysis and synthesis, systematization and generalization, dialectical approach. Findings. In the article the features of functioning of machine-building enterprises in the conditions of threats to the environment. Analyzes existing methodological approaches, evaluation methods of economic development that enabled the analysis of the state of activity of the enterprises. Clarified the accuracy of the different methods of estimation of level of economic safety of the proposed enterprises. Practical value. The efficiency of using the methods of assessing the economic development of the enterprises and calculated the level of development of economic security of enterprise data. Generated solutions to existing problems and directions of improvement activities, enhance the development of economic security.
