THEORY OF COSMIC EDUCATION IN THE PEDAGOGICAL SITUATION OF M. MONTESSORI

Abstract
The article deals with the basic principles of the theory of cosmic education by M. Montessori. It has been found out that the upbringing of a child takes place in the plane of sensual habitation of the nature phenomena, culture, life in society. It is stated that the purpose of cosmic education is to form in children a holistic perception of the picture of the world, awareness of the responsibility for transformation that is carried out by a person on the Earth and in space. It is also acoustically accustomed to the development environment of the “Cosmic Education” zone in pre-school educational establishments, and the content of children’s activities in this zone has been revealed according to the ideas of M. Montessori. It is noted that the subject of cosmic education can be considered the disclosure to the child of the orderliness of the world and global interdependence, the integrity of everything existing in the universe, the discovery of the logic of development of this interdependence, and the determination of the special role and responsibility of a person for the preservation of this integrity and the person in it. It is mentioned that M. Montessori’s didactic materials, which can be successfully used in the development space of modern pre-school institutions, help children, through observation and independent activity, to feel them the part of nature, culture and human society, to develop interest in learning about the world, to realize their knowledge into practice. And then the depths of human culture will reveal to the child. Geography and history are closely intertwined in its area of interest. A specially designed by the pedagogues Montessori teacher-based material on history and geography aims to get the child to spontaneously comprehend the duration of cultural time and its fullness of characters and events, trying to find a place there. The same applies to the sense of space. The materials allow the child to go beyond their own backyard and city, feeling belonging to their nation, their continent, their planet. The prospects for further exploration of cosmic education by M. Montessori are to discover the technology of implementation of these ideas in the practice of modern pre-school educational institutions, etc.
