TO THE PROBLEM OF TRANSLATION OF THE INTERTEXTUAL AND PRECEDENT BASIS OF THE LANGUAGE GAME: CATEGORIZATION OF INTERTEXTUAL ELEMENTS

Abstract
The article deals with the problem of fiction, built on the principles of the language game with the intertextual and prec- edent basis. Being based on the categorization method, the intertextual elements are related to certain classes and their characteristics are generalized. An attempt is made to segment them into the elements needed to create a representative translation. Such approach allows to distinguish, which categorical elements are to be preserved and which should be adopted in order to provide proper translation of the original.
