TO THE PROBLEMS OF OPTIMIZING THE FORMATION OF THE PROFESSIONAL IDENTITY OF FUTURE NURSES

Abstract

Formation of professional identity of future nurses is ensured by a combination of conditions determined by the specifics of their professional activity. Formation of the most important psycho-logical qualities of a person in the process of training future nurses is based on the motivational sphere of the individual, which includes value orientations of the future professional, the content of the pro-fession, motives and goals. It is on this basis that professional know-ledge is acquired in the future, abilities, actions, thinking are deve-loped; professional technologies are improved, including methods of interaction in joint professional activities. An important step in the process of forming a professional identity is the creation of a positive image of the chosen profession: the history and significance of the profession at the present time, the subject, conditions, means of work, professional requirements to the person and the prospects of the profession. It is important to have an idea of the requirements of a modern professional, see positive examples to follow in professional activities. Professional self-image, awareness of own identity in the chosen profession and positive attitude towards oneself as a subject of vocational and professional-manufacturing activity are formed on the basis of comparison of the image of the profession of nurse with the self-image. The knowledge about the interests, inclinations, abilities, opportunities and own professional orientation are included in the self-image of the student.
