TRAINING OF PROFESSIONALS FOR TRADING FLEET IN THE KHERSON REGION IN THE SECOND PART OF XIX – AT THE BEGINNING OF XX

Abstract

The article has analyzed the problem of the foundation and development of professional marine education system in the Kherson region. In the second part of XIX century – at the beginning of 1920s years it had been cleared up the position of scientific working out of the analyzed problem in the historical science. The material of the article represents historical discourse of marine education in Kherson area at the end of XIX century, the specifics of training specialists for fleet is investigated in historical plane, just during the period of foundation of marine education – at the end of XIX century. Attention is paid to the factors which influence the formation of a future specialist of marine branch. Means of moral, esthetical, physical, cultural, religious development of sailors are investigated. Formation of the personality of marine branch specialist is determined by a number of factors which influence this process. One of them is training at marine educational institutions. For deeper understanding of its peculiarities the specifics of fleet specialists training should be found out in historical plane during the period of foundation of marine education, at the end of XIX century. The aim of the article is to investigate the formation of marine education in Kherson area in the context of formation of future sailor’s personality. The article points out that much attention of pedagogical council and tutorial committee was paid to educational work and broadening of the students’ outlook. It should be mentioned that absence of integrity and complex work on the question under discussion and also presence of the whole number of unsolved questions which are to be discussed, testify the necessity of further studying and generalization of the outlined question. Separate attention is given to the source base of investigation with the help of which the image of marine education is reflected in the Kherson region.
