TRAITEMENT DE LA VASE DU BARRAGE DE BOUHANIFIA EN VUE DE SA VALORISATION

Abstract
Plus de 35.10 6 m 3 de vase se trouve actuellement au fond de la retenue du barrage de Bouhanifia d’une capacité initiale de 73.10 6 m 3 . Afin de prolonger la «durée de vie» de cet ouvrage, le dragage de la retenue est devenu une solution indispensable. Malgré l’évacuation périodique des sédiments par les pertuis de vidange, l’envasement de la retenue augmente d’une année à l’autre. La vase rejetée pose d’énormes problèmes à l’aval du barrage et plus particulièrement dans la région de l’oued El Hammam. Notre étude s’est basée sur des analyses physiques, chimiques et minéralogiques de la vase prélevée dans la retenue du barrage de Bouhanifia. Les résultats obtenus vérifient bien les normes d’une argile utilisée pour la fabrication de la brique.
