Abstract

From a linguistic point of view, Cameroon is considered a microcosm of Africa. Three of the four major language families documented in Africa are represented dramatically. Apart from English and French are the official languages, about 300 autochthons’’ languages are spoken. The contact between these languages identity is strong and complex. Cohabitation between the languages of different phyla is actually the manifestation of an intercultural dialogue that is apprehended through a set of linguistic phenomena. Here we will dwell particularly on the relationships the Adamawa language with two proto-Chadic languages. It is studying the relationship between lexical-semantic tupuri, kera massana and who have a common background lexical sharing.
