Vehicle Speed Determination in Case of Road Accident by Software Method and Comparing of Results with the Mathematical Model
Journal Title: Strojnicky casopis - Journal of Mechanical Engineering - Year 2017, Vol 67, Issue 2
Abstract
The paper addresses the problem to vehicle speed calculation at road accidents. To determine the speed are used the PC Crash software and Virtual Crash. With both methods are analysed concrete cases of road accidents. Calculation methods and comparing results are present for analyse. These methods consider several factors such are: the front part of the vehicle, the technical feature of the vehicle, car angle, remote relocation after the crash, road conditions etc. Expected results with PC Crash software and Virtual Crash are shown in tabular graphics and compared in mathematical methods.

Fem Simulation of Thermal Cycles During Laser Welding of Aluminium
The submitted paper deals with the simulation of thermal cycles during laser welding of aluminum sheets using Finite Element Method (FEM). After the design and creation of the simulation model, the simulation results w...
Identification of Fatigue Constants by Means of 3D Method
The conventional method for evaluation of the fatigue constants uses one set of experimental data from strain-controlled uniaxial fatigue tests. However, these constants do not ensure the compatibility conditions. The...
Effect of Tapered Interference Fit between Impeller and Shaft in Turbo Machines
In Turbo machines, there are many components which are provided with interference to transmit torque and to maintain contact between them. There are transient scenarios where impeller and shaft lose interference and li...
Experimental Evaluation of Mechanical Properties of Friction Welded Dissimilar Steels under Varying Axial Pressures
The present study emphasizes on joints two industrially important materials AISI 304 with AISI 1021steels, produced by friction welding have been investigated. Samples were welded under different axial pressures rangin...
CFD Analysis of Downcomer of Nuclear Reactor VVER 440
The paper is focused on CFD analyses of the coolant flow in the nuclear reactor VVER 440. The goal of the analyses is to investigate the influence of the orifice diameter on the mass flow through individual fuel assemb...
