Violation of the principles of good faith and party autonomy as a ground for holding liable in the framework of the Vienna Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods: doctrinal approach

Abstract
The article is devoted to key problems of liability for violation of principles of good faith and party autonomy in international legal regulation of trade relations. The core of principle of good faith in international trade relations was covered. The content of principle of party autonomy throughout contractual arrangements of international sale of goods was analyzed. The content of UN Vienna Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods was in- vestigated for entrenchment of the principles of good faith and party autonomy. It was carried out the analysis of current types of liability for violation of principles of good faith and party autonomy as enshrined in Convention. The doctrinal approaches of practical usage of liability for violation of mentioned principles were determined.
