Zmiana oblicza alergii pokarmowej u dorosłych

Abstract
Many epidemiological studies, their meta-analysis suggest a clear change in the face of food allergy not only in epidemiology but also the domination of various food allergy phenotypes in adults, new, previously rare clinical forms and dominance in contrast to children hypersensitivity to other food allergens. The work draws attention to a group of adults, even those of late age, in whom food hypersensitivity becomes a significant problem. The commonly occurring phenomenon of cross reactions and those allergen components that are a particular problem in triggering severe allergic reactions are discussed. These are important facts that allow us to focus our attention on selecting appropriate diagnostic tools and implement appropriate preventive actions. The work is an attempt to characterize these new trends based on the latest publications. ............................... Liczne badania epidemiologiczne, ich metaanaliza sugerują wyraźnie zmianę oblicza alergii pokarmowej nie tylko w zakresie epidemiologii ale również przewagę pewnych fenotypów alergii pokarmowej u osób dorosłych, nowych, uprzednio rzadko spotykanych postaci klinicznych i dominacje w odróżnieniu od osób w wieku rozwojowym nadwrażliwości na zgoła inne alergeny pokarmowe. W pracy zwrócono uwagę na grupę osób dorosłych, nawet tych w wieku późnym, u których nadwrażliwość pokarmowa staje się istotnym problemem. Omówiono powszechnie występujące zjawisko reakcji krzyżowych oraz na te komponenty alergenowe, które są szczególnym problemem w wyzwalaniu ciężkich reakcji alergicznych. Są to istotne fakty, które pozwalają skoncentrować naszą uwagę zarówno na dobraniu odpowiednich narzędzi diagnostycznych jak i wdrożyć właściwe działania prewencyjne. Praca jest próbą scharakteryzowania tych nowych tendencji w oparciu o najnowsze publikacje w tym zakresie.
